- On the page, tap on YouTube

- Press Uninstall Updates

Apart from the above steps, there is another option. The YouTube Shorts were introduced in the YouTube version 14.13.54(1413542300). Uninstall YouTube from your Android device and download and install an APK file for version 14.12.56 of YouTube.

4.Download YouTube Vanced App Instead
The YouTube Vanced app has the option to remove YouTube Shorts. This is another method that only works for Android devices. YouTube Vanced is an APK file available on the internet.
The YouTube Vanced app has a lot of additional features as well, like an ad blocker, playing device in the background, etc.

- In the Vanced app Settings, open Ad Settings
- In the bottom find Shorts shelf,
- Turn off the switch and now you can use YouTube appear free of YouTube Shorts
